The hryvnia, sometimes hryvnya (Ukrainian: гривня, pronounced [ˈɦrɪu̯ɲɑ], abbr.: грн (hrn in Latin alphabet)); sign: ₴, code: UAH), has been the national currency of Ukraine since 2 September 1996. The average salary (per month) for 2016 = 3500 UAH. It is about 125 euros. We have a much lower price than other country of the Europe.

Valentine's day in the "Manufactura" outlet!

On February 13 and 14 2016, from 12 am until 19 pm we are pleased to invite you to spend a Valentine's Day in the outlet village "Manufactura".

uFilmFest - short films fest in Ukraine

This is the first edition of Inspire FilmFest. Our mission is to inspire the viewer with positive and motivating films. So if your film aims  to entertain the audience and  to make them think about the true values ​​of life and inspire positive changes you are welcome to submit. The festival is going to be held on the most romantic weekend of the year, on February 12-13th 2016, with cosy atmosphere of life screenings in a "Kinopanorama" cinema, the heart of festival life of Kyiv and various workshops of both experienced and young filmmakers. Our festival is a chance for directors  from Ukraine and abroad to meet, exchange experience and co-operate in future.

Ukrainian cartoon hits record in USA

For six weeks the cartoon "Dave and Ava" watched 15 000 000 American viewers. This incredible success not only for Ukrainian 3D animation, but also for the entire film industry of Ukraine.

On Valentine's Day at Uzhgorod Pancakes

"Uzhgorod Palachinta" - a gastronomic festival with a variety of cultural and entertainment program, combining Ukrainian and Transcarpathian traditions and modern trends.

The name of the festival - "palachinta" (from Hungarian. «Palacsinta»), that the Transcarpathian dialect means "pancake". That is, when it comes to the festival with "oil", but in the Transcarpathian system.

This year, the first day of the festival coincides with Valentine's Day - a holiday of love, so the organizers, in addition to traditional entertainment, prepare individual program elements for lovers. Ukrainian soprano was heard at the annual ball in Luxembourg

In January 2016, in the historic center of "Cercle Cité" (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg) successfully hosted the annual charity ball, which is considered one of the most culturally and socially significant event in the country.

The main musical surprise for the visitors was the performance of Ukrainian classical crossover soprano Arina Domski. Unusual combination of classical music and modern sounds, the audience greeted with loud applause. Strong operatic vocals Arina did not leave anyone indifferent. In addition, the singer impressed the audience with original costumes.

The singer performed the works of Italian, French and English.

Ukranian may stay without visa in China for 144 hours

144 hours free visa

On January 30 China opens 144-hour visa-free regime for citizens of 51 countries. Among them are Ukraine.

A visa-free regime will be valid in all other countries to open sea, land and air checkpoints Shanghai, and air checkpoints Nanjing (the administrative center of Jiangsu Province) and Hangzhou (Zhejiang Province administrative center).

Citizens of the 51 th country will be in Shanghai and these provinces for 144 hours without the need to issue Chinese visas.

The first time I went to a festive night in the city center. I do not regret it. The area was decorated beautifully. They sold many delicious: barbecue, mulled wine and much more. Tourists have been satisfied. Prices of it was average.

Унікальне українське село: Холоневичі

Їдучи дорогою із Луцька на Рівне, посеред шляху починаєш звертати свою увагу на довколишні ліси та періодичне зникнення телефонної мережі. Ти починаєш бачити, щось незвичне, втім в цьому немає нічого особливого, але звернувши на Цуманському перехресті наліво  та проїхавши ще якихось 30 км ти опиняєшся на перший погляд звичайному українському селі. Холоневичі є звичайним селом тільки для тих хто чув лише його назву і знайшов його в google, а для тих хто хоча б раз у своєму житті побував у Холоневичах назавжди запам’ятає - це унікальне, привітне, по-своєму особливе, з своїми неповторними традиціями та дещо містичне село.

І щоб не здаватися пустослівними розповімо чому воно особливе, унікальне, привітне та про його неповторні традиції. Розпочнемо з самого початку і постараємося дуже коротко, бо це потрібно бачити на власні очі.
Заснування Холоневич у 1577 році визначило його долю на усі майбутні століття та зробило із цього села місце в якому хочеться народитися та жити.

Адже розташоване воно серед чудових пейзажів коло річки Кормин серед лісів, боліт та річок, які переповненні Червонокнижними рослинами та тваринами. Хоча б згадати заказник «Чортове болото», який окрім своєї природної унікальності має ще й свою історію, містичну легенду про снігову людину.

А що вже й говорити про «Беззодню» (болото поблизу Знамирівки та Холоневич) яке в часи другої світової потопило один з найкращих німецьких танків. Як розповідають старожили, він ще й досі десь на дні «беззодні». Холоневичі – це село в якому свого часу було переплетено три культури та в якому компактно проживали представники трьох націй: українців, поляків та євреїв. 

Старий, мовчазний і небачених розмірів будинок у центрі села, як і школа початку 20 ст. ще і зараз нагадують жителям та гостям села про його історію про те, як Холоневичі протягом декількох століть мали свою католицьку парафію та водночас були і православними. Ще одна сторінка історії Холоневич пов’язана з УПА, десятки хлопців та дівчат із Холоневич вступали у лави УПА та й поблизу Холоневич знаходилося ряд криївок, одна з них і в урочищі «Перцева гора», яка діяла аж до 1954 року. 

Якщо говорити про традиції села то кожне свято в селі святкують по-своєму, як ніде більше і не святкують, але увагу привертає зовсім не це, а те, що ще задовго до міжнародного жіночого дня в Холоневичах його святкували. Святкували його по-особливому: чоловіки у цей день брали всю жіночу роботу на себе, а жінки намагалися дати як найбільше роботи для своїх чоловіків, щоб ті як то говориться  побували б «в овечій шкурі».

Ансамбль «Брикса», який діє в Холоневичах демонструє святкування «жіночого дня» на сценах не тільки області, але й далеко за її межами.
