Kyiv. Ukraine. This is a very old country. There were many good and bad events. My homeland was occupied by the Soviet Union for 70 years. These were horrible times. Ukrainians killed because we did not want to be slaves. We have always been closer to Europe than to the east.

In this post I show one of the sorrow place in Kyiv. This place is a model cultural level of those times. This post is about Kyiv horce racetrack.

This autumn, our group visited the Memorial to Fallen Soldiers in the World War 2. Ukraine is actively fought in the war.
Some time Kyiv was occupied by the Nazis. Where is memerial was 3 th (outer) circle defense. Now this is elite place Koncha Zaspa. There are many beautiful forests. Good photo you can do there. Pine forest here with very clean air.

Road to Memorial

Tourists are almost never go so far away.
In the forest you can find the trenches and fortifications of those times. The Memorial consists of graves, bunker and chapels. In the chapel tourist can hit the bell. The good will be photo.

I advise to go here. But in the summer when warm. And do picnic.
